What is kombucha?
Even though kombucha is a funny word, it’s actually quite simple. Kombucha is a craft tea made with three key ingredients: tea, sugar & water. Every batch is fermented using a live culture called a SCOBY, which is fed by the sugar in the tea to create tons of live probiotics.
Revive Kombucha sources organic, fair-trade, non-GMO certified ingredients and take pride in producing organic, vegan, raw and traditionally fermented kombucha which just happens to be Super Tasty, guaranteed.
Why should I drink Revive Kombucha?
Because it’s good for ya and Super Tasty, guaranteed. Revive contains a lot less sugar than most leading sodas and is packed full of probiotics. How do you make Revive Kombucha Super Tasty?
Super fresh, we’ve learned, is the secret ingredient to Super Tasty. We source directly from the farmer whenever we can and value our long-standing relationships with our suppliers. We know if you’re going to guarantee something as audacious as Super Tasty, then every single ingredient – from the just picked mint leaves to the perfectly tart hibiscus flowers we source from only one location in Africa – has to be added to the brew at its natural peak of flavor. Shortcuts need not apply to Revive Kombucha.

Does it have alcohol?
Revive Kombucha is considered non-alcoholic by law as it contains less than .5% ABV (alcohol by volume). We get this question a lot because alcohol is a natural byproduct of the fermentation process, and we were one of the first kombucha brands to take alcohol out of equation as we created a proprietary process that makes our products safe for expecting mothers and children alike.
How much sugar is in your kombucha?
We have anywhere from 5-12g of USDA Certified Organic Cane Sugar per serving, depending on the brew. Our new line of Sparkling Kombucha only contains 5g of organic sugar per can, one of the lowest on the market.
Sugar is integral in kombucha brewing because it feeds the culture during fermentation. Some kombucha brands will use juice or other forms of sweeteners in addition to the sugar used to feed the culture, and we’re proud to let you know we do not add any additional sugars to our brews post fermentation.
How much caffeine does your kombucha have?
Our kombucha contains anywhere from 22 to 27mg of caffeine in a 12oz serving. Of our 11 brews, 6 of them do have naturally occurring caffeine.

What about allergens?
None of our kombucha brews contain allergens. Although organic almond extract is an ingredient in 4 of our raw kombucha brews, the actual organic almond extract that we use does not contain almonds, any proteins from nuts or any nuts at all. The extract is derived from drupes, the botanical term for stone fruits such as peaches and apricots. The almond flavor comes from benzaldehyde, a naturally occurring compound in the kernels of the drupes. We use this ingredient specifically so that Revive Kombucha can be allergen free.
